hello friends.

back in amsterdam, last night of the trip…totally beat!

had a wonderful time in scotland.  met some amazing friends, the other folks who won the burnsong-organized song competition… we stayed together in a farm in dumfries at a  workshop, writing a lot, playing all night and enjoying each other’s company.

we played a show on st. andrew’s day at the scottish parliament in edinburgh (you can hear the broadcast on bbc’s ian anderson show), which was a really cool experience as well.

also got to explore the van gogh museum this morning in amsterdam (or, as they say, stichting nieuwe vleugel van goghmuseum), which was  breathtaking. been looking forward to that for so long…what a moving collection.
